Brandon and Anne Burnett Burnett Digital is the relaxed part-time professional photography business of Brandon and Anne Burnett.

Brandon has over 15 years of photography experience including senior, business and family portraits, weddings, sports, food, commercial, products and events. Brandon likes to make use of shallow depth of field, and restricted soft lighting to focus a viewer's attention on the subjects of his photographs.

Anne has over five years of experience and has a great eye for composition and capturing the little details that others may miss. She is skilled at eliciting smiles from ornery toddlers and nervous groomsmen.

Together, you can count on them to create great photos that capture memories from every angle.

Weddings
When you hire Burnett Digital to photograph your wedding, you can expect us to create beautiful photographs that you will cherish the rest of your lives. We will capture both traditional group portraits and candid photos of fleeting moments. Your wedding day will likely be a blur of activity; you can depend on us to help preserve these memories in the photographs we make.

We have over fifteen years of photography experience and have photographed weddings in a variety of locations. We come prepared with studio lights and back up gear. We are willing to shoot some group photographs before the ceremony and others afterwards so that the Groom doesn’t see the Bride until she walks down the aisle. Our state-of-the-art Nikon digital cameras allow us to take photos of the ceremony without a disruptive flash.

We recommend photos of your preparations, formal group photos, the ceremony, and the unique events that take place at your reception (first dance, dances with parents, toasts, cutting the cake, guests, etc.).

I was very impressed with the quality of pictures, and your kindness and patience in working with family, kids and others trying to take pictures. The variety of pictures is great and you did the special colorized black and white photos that we requested.

After your wedding, we will provide you with copyright released DVD-ROMs containing ALL of your photos. We will also upload your photos to our website for you and your guests to order from if desired (we have archival paper, gorgeous metallic prints and other photo products that you can’t find everywhere). This website can be password protected if you wish.

We charge for our time and don’t force you into packages with photos that you don’t need. Weddings are $165/hour for two photographers; so your total investment for seven hours of wedding coverage is just $1,155. Contact us today for availability at brandon@burnettdigital.com.

Portrait Sessions
We love making beautiful and creative portraits at various locations in central Iowa and welcome your ideas on where to shoot. We will visit with you to learn more about the type of portraits that you want to achieve, and then match those needs with a location. Do you want an urban look? A walk on the beach? A forest? Cool architectural elements? Film Noir? Want an artistic indoor location? We have access to some interesting buildings and warehouses with exposed brick walls and beams. Location photography makes for unique portraits that you can't get with a backdrop in a studio.

Having said that, shooting in a studio allows us to create beautiful light, even in the middle of the day or when the weather is uncooperative. While we don't own a studio, we do have multiple studios that we rent from time to time.

Fall Portrait Session Special

Portrait sessions are $215 till the end of Fall and include:

the portrait session (approximately one hour; we're flexible)
retouching
$150 credit to the prints of your choice
all images on a copyright released DVD-ROM.

Print prices are still economical at: 8x10-$10, 5x7-$5, 4x6-$2, 8 wallets-$8

Commercial Photography
From ServiceMaster and an international agriculture consulting firm, to a one man consulting firm and a local marketing firm, commercial clients have relied on Burnett Digital’s creativity, flexibility, professionalism and years of photography experience to create the photos they need to promote their business. We look at commercial photography as a creative team process. We are professionals, not prima donnas.

We’ll work with you to understand your needs. To allow for feedback and communication, we’ll show you the photos we are creating as we go. Plus, you can count on us “to work” the subject and provide you with many photographic angles and options from which to choose.
